Other Islands Book Fair

Other Islands Book Fair is a space to cultivate creative relationships and gather the work of community builders, local publishers, designers, artists, zine makers, independent bookshops, and publishers on Pratt’s historic Brooklyn campus. The branding proposal and motion logo for the book fair were made in collaboration with my colleague Niya Koh.

An Oasis of Creation: Throughout the creative process, our goal was to emphasize the value of working together to cultivate a safe space - an island. We based our concept on the idea of a pop-up book which represented the “Other Islands”. Additionally, the motion logo takes on an whimsical approach inspired by the growth of a garden.
